Uploading art inventory to the Artfundi platform has never been easier! To help you get started, we've outlined a streamlined artworks upload process that simplifies adding and managing your collection. This guide will show you how to upload artworks efficiently and effectively.
First let’s get you set up for success;
When you upload an artwork, you can streamline art uploads by selecting basics like artists, categories, mediums, and statuses from a drop-down menu.
Before you start uploading your works, we recommend setting up these basics on your platform. You can easily do this by expanding the Works tab in your navigation menu.
You should also set up Branches to link your works to. For steps to the easy process, click here.
With preparation complete, you are ready to upload your artworks. Simply follow the process provided below:
1: In the Left Sidebar, click on ‘Works’. Once it expands, click on ‘Add & View Works’.
2: In the top right corner, click on the ‘New Work’ button.
3: You will be taken through an organized sequence that ensures you add everything pertaining to the artwork.
From providing artist and financial information to selecting categories and mediums, and uploading certificates and images, to publishing the work on your website - you don’t need to do it all at once. You can save your progress and return at any time to continue later.
*A quick note about uploading your artworks’ images:
To ensure fast-loading website pages that aren't slowed down by large images, it is crucial to adhere to a maximum image size of 5MB per image. Optimizing art images before uploading to Artfundi for faster loading, maintaining quality and improving visitor experience.
Please note that you are able to upload a maximum amount of 5 images at once for each artwork.
To update anything on your works, simply browse to the Works section where all works will be displayed in list or grid view, depending on your selection. Click on the pencil icon next to the relevant work to edit.
